Sky Broadband Set-Up waiting times

So Sky Broadband are morons, no 2 opinios here. After waiting 25 days for a very simple installation, the engineer finally showed up as per the appointment just to discover a problem with the line outside of the property. He said that the problem would be fixed on the next day and there's no need for another visit from an engineer at the property.

Sky however do not agree. Today I received an email saying that I did not provide access to the property so I should call them and arrange another appointment. Yes, you got that correct.

Sky is fucking moronic, so I need to call them at my own expenses and pay for their idiotic practices. Ok, I called. And I got through to the person with the most terrible accent I've ever encountered, I bet he's not using Siri. So this person that I could barely understand tells me that the earliest date for installation is now 7 Nov, yeah got that right. After waiting for 25 days for the appointment, Sky fucked up everything but I have to wait for another 20 days, how convenient.

Then the accent guy tells me a lot of garbage that I'm not able to pick up and says he'll call me again. Later I received an email from Sky Broadband that says my set-up is rescheduled for 7 Nov. Joking. Morons.

I contacted them already via their so called support center which is also a joke by the way, claiming free internet bundle untill they sort their shit or money to cover for my alternative internet untill they get their shit fixed.

I also requested all information Sky have on file for me according to the European Data Protection Law as I'm planning to use this in a claim with the UK Ombudsman.

I'll update the story accordingly. Meanwhile I'll check other providers that offer 12 month contract but won't cancel with Sky yet. I want them to actually bother and finish the installation. Only then I'll cancel immediately.
